Larson Doors - Larson Tradewinds Door Sucks!
Door was purchased in 2007. Its one where screen slides down from top.
After just that one summer, that sliding screenstorm would not lock in place. Have been using duck tape since then to keep top in place. Screen completed ripped all along the seams. I have had window and patio door screens on house for 10 years +!!
Never adjusts properly, either slams or shuts too slow. Squeaks and creaks. I had a Forever Door when first bought house and it lasted for 20 years!! Only reason got rid of it was it was full view and we got a puppy (now dog) and didnt want screen to be ripped.
Jokes on us! Never buying another Larson!
Reason of review: Not as described/ advertised.
Monetary Loss: $298.
Preferred solution: Just want company to know not happy with product at all and wll never buy another..
Location: Niagara Falls, New York

Larson makes crap. I've installed 4 to date.
One was a very expensive custom size and the glass panel was not square, to the point it wouldn't even fit in the frame. Company response on phone: "That's impossible". On another the strike plate was missing. They sent me a new one...but it was wrong and didn't fit even closely.
On another unit the movable glass spring clips extend too far making the panel nearly impossible to move up and down. This company's attitude seems to be: Make it as poorly as possible and flood the market so they have to buy our crap.
Isn't it a 10 yr warranty?
