Door latch doesn't work
i have bought 5 of these doors in the past 20 years.this one is the biggest piece of crap ever.door handel and latch doesn't work and i will have to make something for it to stay closed.their customer service is of no help at all.

I purchased a Larsons screen door with the retractable screen feature from Lowes on 9/14/24- total price was $652.97. It got installed on 10/28/24.
Within 20 days (11/21/24) the SCREEN CAME OFF and cannot be put back on- and its only ME who has used it!! I FINALLY got in touch with Lowes and after MANY calls- Im being Ill have to wait until they hear back from Larsons on what can be done!
I cant even USE this door like this nor can I return it! Ill never buy again.
- It should not break after two weeks
- And it should not take an act of god to get this door replaced
Preferred solution: A DOOR THAT WORKS AND WONT BREAK WITHIN THE FIRST TWO WEEKS!

Bad support for consumers.
DWe bought a storm door through Window World of the Triad in Winston Salem. The tension screw broke and Window World said they only do warranty work for the first year, so they had me contact Larsen.
I had to email about six to eight pictures to verify it was a Larsen door and they sent me parts for the door for me to fix. The parts did not work plus they sent the wrong instructions. I called Window World back and they sent a repair man out to try to fix it .
And they confirmed that the parts were messed up and they also said the instructions were wrong. And all that Larsen wants to do is send more parts.

I have had this door for 18 months and have had to pay a handy man to help me with repairs . I am so mad about spending the money on it , and I am tired of calling the company !!
Door wont close for the second time in 18 months , had two instances with the door handle

The door slams shut. I know its under warranty and I need somebody to send me one the closer that is that mounts in top of the door.

Poor customer service and warranty is a joke Larson does not stand behind their product
Bought Larson storm door installed frame is Plumb storm door is not store says it is manufacturers problem since outside my return window contact Larson done everything that they've asked for and they come up with excuses why they can't warranty it out spent money on contractor to install door and the separate to come back out disable and reinstall and still not plum door frame is plum how many times do you have to take pictures and send into Larson for proof that I have done everything they've asked for Larson just can't stand behind their product the only one that's losing out is the customer

I have had a Larson storm door with a pet door for less than three years and have had to replace the sweep seal twice already. This seal only has a one-year warranty, but the replacement parts do not have any warranty.
This is garbage. I would definitely not recommend this product.

So frustrated. We bought Larson Scenic windows but have trouble with with one screen NOT rolling. Need someone to come out. Still have no name or number to call. Beyond belief we can not find s
Lower screen does not roll. It only bunches at the bottom when we pull the window closed.
Cannot find anyone to fix this minor problem. Apparently Larson windows have been sold which complicates things.
Called Larson Manufacturing , went to Lowes, called several companies locally, even asked Angi List..
We are still looking for someone to help us. We are NOT asking for anyone to come for FREE, but someone who CAN simply adjust this screen.
Need Help.

I bought a high-end Larson screen door 1.5 years ago. The hidden closer went bad.
The door was slamming so hard. Adjusting only lasted for a week and now the door is stuck open. I had to remove the closer. I can't find one anywhere.
I called Larson and was on hold for 2 hours but no one answered. I left 3 messages. No response. What do I do now?
I have a $1800 screen door that I cannot get a closer for. Ugh!

Need a service call , no help
Need help to fix a screen that will not roll. Cannot find anyone.
VERY FRUSTRATED.
Called Larson Manufacturing. 1.5 hr wait time. Visited Lowes so many times, lost count. Tried contacting local companies.
I only need A PERSON to adjust the roller. It seems impossible to find.

Door latch is expensive and poor quality. Tends to break off and have to be replaced.
Door latch (sh3v A) had to be replaced three times. The connection between inner and outer handle is very thin, and tends to break.
Connection should be made with higher quality steel. From what I can see, it's the only flaw.
The door and handle itself is a great design. I have been disappointed with the quality.

It’s a 25 cent screw!
Four yo $500 screen door-slider pad screw fell out and its gone. The door was redesigned to make slider pad easy to remove but they cant replace a screw on original model.
Consumer must pretty much remove the door to replace the slider pad and ONE new screw. Who does this?
LARSON. One screw.
User's recommendation: Make sure you purchase the improved model with the slider pad notch.

Bought a storm door and handle lockset. The lockset had a quality issue that would not allow one side of handle to lock onto properly. Larson would not replace unless I paid an additional $27 .
They could care more about quality control or at least pretend to are about it. Should be pretty easy to replace just a handle
